Gordon Stennett, Triple Cardinal Sculpture of dyed maple and natural walnut with driftwood stand and natural figured maple base. Approximately 17 inches high and 6 inches diameter.
Gordon started carving as a hobby in 1975. His father had long admired carvings from another artist who lived in the area. He was always interested in whatever his father did, so Gordon started working on birds too. Their hobby snowballed into a profession and Gordon's shorebirds and waterfowl sculptures are displayed over the world, and his work has been on display at the Smithsonian.
Each piece is an original; no two pieces will ever look alike.
